Electrical Safety

Fact: Almost 30% of fires that have occurred in commercial premises’ were attributed to a faulty electrical source.
All wiring systems require periodic inspection and testing. However, the time periods between inspections and tests varies according to the relative risks and inherent hostility of the working environment. Performing regular, simple, visual inspections of fixed installations can identify many defects before they pose a serious hazard.

Installation & Maintenance

We can install and maintain fire systems throughout the UK. We provide a full 24 hour call out service across the UK mainland and will service any electrical system to the relevant British standards. We have a wide range of maintenance contracts available to meet any requirement.

Evacuation Drills

We can organise and invigilate Fire Evacuations with the aim of enhancing staff awareness. Our consultants will identify and rectify problem areas, with the end result being a smooth, well-organised fire evacuation with minimum disruption.
The "training consists of:-
a) Liaising with an appropriate person to arrange a mutually convenient date and time on which to hold the evacuation drill.
b) Ensuring that the local Fire Brigade are aware and briefed (should the need arise).
c) Initiating the fire alarm system.
d) Observing personnel's reaction to the alarm whilst time keeping.
e) With the exception of key staff, ensure all remaining personnel return to the building as soon as the drill is over to resume normal working activities.
f) A post–drill meeting is held with key personnel to discuss how to improve in the future.
g) A full report of the drill will be sent to the appropriate person. The report will include a overview of events and recommendations for improvement (if necessary) and the way forward

Green Gauge Consulting

Using a dash board graphical information can be extracted on whatever you want. So long as it is in the system you can get access to it. Such as

Reports can be produced that are updated with the latest remarks and due diligence history against issues found at a property.

Site managers can add their own actions, with photographs if they discover problems at site that need managing.
